OUR MISSION

Access: Student Disability Union was founded by two disabled students in 2019 to provide an intentional space for the disabled students of Emerson College. We aim to build up and unite Emerson’s disability community in order to collectively advocate for accessibility, visibility, and acceptance, as well as to cultivate a network of support and inclusion for ourselves and our allies.

TESTIMONIALS

"I may have been insecure, thinking I had no sense of community at Emerson, and that no one cared about what I had to say. The Access community proved me wrong. Here I had a sense of belonging, and a sense of caring."
—Zach Swasta, Co-Founder and former Co-President
